The Relationships Between The Coping Efficacy, Coping Style And Mental Health Among The Needy College Students

Coping style is the cognitive and the behavior method the individual used when they affront frustrations or pressure.It's the result of Interaction between the individual's stability factors and the enviroment.The coping style is an important indicator of the social adaptability of the pupil's and the development of skills.The coping efficacy is a kind of general conviction which the individual'demand that deal with the stress situation and the emotion evocated by the surroundings.It becomes a imprtant problem that how the needy students faced the enviroment and come into be what kind of coping effectiveness.This investigation adopts coping style way questionnaire,coping efficacy way questionnaire and SCL-90 spiritual symptom to carry on questionnaire investigation to the students.The study selected at random 600 colleges students WuHan as objects, questionnaire survey was carried out with 496 effective questionnaires recovered,193 were the needy students. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis of variance of survey data as follows:(1)The result of the coping efficacy questionnaire shows: There is notability difference between the needy college students and the Common college students when they have different economic background,major,gender,grade and etc.The Competence factor score is much more higher on the needy students.(2)The result of the coping style questionnaire shows: There is no notability difference between the needy college students and the Common college students when they have different economic background,major,gender,grade and etc.The recourse factor score is much more higher on the female and upper classman.(3)The result of the SCL-90 spiritual symptom questionnaire shows: There is much more problem in the needy college students mind.There is notability difference between the needy college students and the Common college students when they have different major,gender,grade and etc.(4)There is notability difference on all of the SCL-90 factor items in the diversity compound mode of the coping efficacy and the coping style.
