Issues And Countermeasures For Cultural Construction In New Rural Areas

Since 1949, China's cultural construction in rural areas has made a lot of progress under all levels of government and financial support. However, it still has a wide gap with requirement of building a new socialist countryside.The government's decision of socialism new countryside construction has provided a historical opportunity for the cultural reconstruction in countryside. Since the reform and open policy's implementation, our rural reconstruction mainly focuses on the countryside infrastructural facilities and the economic development. After 30 year's diligently work, the countryside appearance obtained a much better look, and the economy got the corresponding development. However, the countryside cultural reconstruction didn't obtain the corresponding development enough. The rural economy is the foundation the farmer lives on, farmers would like to increase their cultural demand on the base of economic life improvement because certain economic level should match certain cultural status. On the contrast, the culture's existence also has inestimable influence on the economy and social life. Countryside cultural reconstruction planning is the significant components of the countryside full-scale development planning. An overall planning of rural culture development can make cultural development meet farmer's spiritual life needs better and deepen new countryside construction from physical level to spiritual level.
