Marx's Transformation From Humanitarianism To Historical Materialism

The Marxist philosophy ideology includes a series of integrity world outlook system, such as the ontology, natural view, epistemology, conception of history, values and so on. It has realized a great revolution in the philosophy history. But looked from the Marxism theory development process, Marx is not the inborn Marxist. He established the Marxism theory in a certain stage, and then became the Marxist. He becomes the Marxist philosophy founder had experienced a transformation from the idealism to the materialism, from revolutionary democracy to communism. In this article we understand his thought from Marx's conception of history development phase. In the conception of history Marx persisted the humanitarianism conception or the materialism one? What is the relation between them ? To understand Marx's thought, we need to know not only what it said , but what it did. In this paper, explained by the Marx conception of history development ,Marx has dual factors ---the humanitarianism and the historical materialism in the period of Feuerbachism. But the latter holds the dominant position. In 1845, Marx established the new materialism through criticizing Feuerbach's direct-viewing materialism and this new materialism is the materialism conception of history. But the Marxism conception of history is not humanitarianism but historical materialism.
