The Preliminary Study On The Art Special Features Of The Sculpture-carving Wing Horses In The TaiLing In Tang Dynasty

The sculpture-carving wing horses are important plastic art in the emperor'ausoleum sculpture carvings.There had been a pare of sculpture-carving wing horses in the emperor's mausoleums in Tang dynasty Since the QianLing. As a system of memorial park,they are between the ostrich and HuaBiao. The obvious characteristics on the wing horses in the TaiLing created a special shape style of'The TaiLing style'. First, they had breakthrough and development on the manifestation of shape, there were new creation towards moving power compare with the traditional shapes, one wing horse keep calm and the other keep moving ,they are contrast in symmetrily. Second, the adornment and the appreciate on the plastic art in the TaiLing are different from others. They combine the line engraves, ectype and sculpture together,let the attribute of material stay as far as possible, and didn't do the excessive empty technique. T hird, the contrast relation of the whole image is different from others. On the essence, the emperor's mausoleum stone carvings phenomenon is a culture phenomenon. It's special art form appears the art style and appreciates in Tang dynasty. The shape of the sculpture-carving wing horses in the TaiLing is the development of the shape in the QianLing, and it became a kind of mode. The TaiLing style influenced the shapes of the emperor's mausoleum sculpture-carving wing horses and it had expand meaning in the Tang dynasty.
