In the dissertation,the author selects the political civilization and the core political morality which is formed by it during the Mid-Tang Dynasty as the object of study,in order to reveal the interactions between social development and ideological changes from one aspect.In the introduction,the author puts forward the problem and explains the academic background of this research.It includes these aspects: summarized the conclusions on the transformations in Mid-Tang Dynasty and the studys of chinese ancient political civilization; defined the start-stop time of Mid-Tang Dynasty;introduced the research methods of this dissertation.In Chapter One,the author reviewed Pre-Qin Scholars'civilize thought, the transition of political civilize thought of the Qin and Han Dynasties and the political civilize practice from Han Dynasty to the early days of Tang Dynasty, the point is that it has point out the core political morality of political Civilization from Han Dynasty to the early days of Tang Dynasty is filial piety.In Chapter Two, the author expounds the background of political Civilize implement in Mid-Tang Dynasty.The author analyses these aspects: the Separatist Rule of Military Govermorship,the Eunuch's Monopoly of Power and heterogeny invasion which were displaying in the Mid-Tang transformation , the Monarch and State crisis which was caused by it; the intellectual group splited up in Two-track system of engaging in politics; The patriarchal clan decline stired up the Monarch and State mentality; the Mid-Tang political civilize thought which is represented by Han Yu's thinking.
