Su Tong is the important novelist who owns a unique vision and especially aesthetic appeal in contemporary China. The uniqueness of the content of his works is primarily due to emotional experience and aesthetic expression of the world, history and life. So, from the aesthetic emotional perspective, the paper focuses on the existing form of the core of his aesthetic emotion," fear", in his creations, based on comprehensive and deeply analysis on Su Tong's novels.Firstly, it analyses the aesthetic existence of the emotion "fear" in Su's novels. The "fear" tendency of the images of the theme, the changeability of the figure's fate and the destiny of his death, the inescapable tragedy plot and the sad, and lonely and ghostly aesthetic atmosphere multi-levelly and multi-laterally reflect the aesthetic existence of fear in Su's works. And the childhood memory and the formation of his individual psychology, the influence of the social environment and the atmosphere of that era, the accumulation of the family culture and national psychology, and the impact of the western philosophy and culture thought together generated aesthetic mentality," fear". The aesthetic form, "fear", created by Su Tong shares some commonness among the contemporary pioneer writers and owns its spiritual significance in the specific context of the era. But the "fearlism" of creational emotion has its aesthetic limitations. The interpretation and expression of the scared and desperate spiritual logic lack the depth of the history and reality, thus lack the deeply and powerfully ideological depth.
