The Transport Development In Shandong During The Spring And Autumn And The Warring States Period

The Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period is the major historical period of reform in China. At that time, the region of Shandong Province ,like other parts of the country, in which great changes took place in history. This change manifest in four aspects including the economic development, political reform, commercial prosperity and the development of transport.In the Ancient, landway, river transportation,and sea transportation are the main form of transport,and this paper trys to discuss the development of Shandong traffic in the Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period from three aspects. The development of transport needs for certain conditions, such as natural and social conditions and so on. There were natural and social conditions in Shandong to promote the development of its transport at the Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period. At the same time, the development of traffic in Shandong region had a significant impact on its time and temporal time. During this process, landway, river transportation,and sea transportation had its own different characteristics of development.From the perspective of geo-history, this paper analysis the reasons, situation and its implications of the development of transportation in Shandong during the Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period, points the function of military and commerce in the transport development. As Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period far away from now,Therefore, this paper uses the archaeological data to demonstrate the history books of records. Through these materials of the Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period ,we can conclude a more comprehensive understanding for transport development of Shandong region.
