Chinese businessmen occur very early,they have a lot of other names,such as "Shang" and "Gu".Different names reveal different management modes of businessmen.In the Western Zhou Dynasty,Government-owned businessmen are under the constraints of "the industry and commerce officer" system,They are not both officials and businessmen.As the official buyer,they mainly is to meet the government’s need, sometimes take part in some political and foreign affairs.In the spring and Autumn Period,as an independent class,Individuals engaged in the trading began to rise.The social status of individuals engaged in the trading improved significantly,these phenomena that individual engaged in the trading joined the army and the government have became more common. Such as Zi Gong, Fan Li,outstanding individuals engaged in the tradinge merge the stage of history,play an important role.The rapid growth of business affects the development of all countries.Oriental countries are largely taken a more liberal commercial policy.But Qin puts the businessmen as a mobile social forces,believes that commercial development will undermine agricultural production, leading to perish,So took Restraining Commerce’s policy.The Spring and Autumn and Warring-States period was a major social transformation period in the history of China.
