The Historial Material Relating To Fujian In The Factual Record Of Qing Emperor Xuan Zong

This paper collected the historical material relating to Fujian in The Factual Record of Qing Emperor Xuan Zong for classification, statistical and quantitative in-depth analysis. I also compared it with other related history books, and then formed a general understanding of the content; number; characteristics; advantages and limitations. The main value of it lies in the preservation of a large amount of reliable historical information, profoundly revealed the social status of Fujian during the reign of Emperor Dao Guang, and the development trend to modernization, as well as the changes of the nature of Chinese society after The First Opium War.
