Shen Shixing, his style name Ru Mo and literary name Yao Quan, later called Xiuxiu Jushi, was born in Changzhou (Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province.) In the year forty-one of Jiajing, the title of the reign of Emperor Shi Zong of the Ming Dynasty, he got the first place in the highest imperial examination and awarded Xiu zhuan, name of a government position. Then, he took charge of the Hanlin Academy as a Left Shuzi, also a title of the government position. Shen, as the main assistant in the government of Ming Dynasty, he had made great contributions for the government and left an indelible imprint during that history. During his political career, there was nothing remarkable, but precisely because of his political measure of ordinary works, the Ming Dynasty could maintain a political stability after his death. After the study of all Shen's life, we may find out that his inaction in political life was not really his doing nothing. On the contrary, he took advantage of conflicts in the search for checks and balances points, so that he consolidated the control of Wan Li Emperor as well as his own position in the government.
