The domestic translation theories have been developing with the permutation of four studying paradigms—Philological Paradigm, Construction Paradigm, Deconstruction Paradigm and Constructivist Paradigm. Referring to this kind of non-thorough understanding of the Constructivist Translation Theory with a reconstructive nature of the translatology, intending to testify the authenticity of this theory in translation practice and still basing on the two main functions translation theories exert on translation practice: to explain the nature of the translation practice; to generalize practical translation principles adapting to all sorts of texts, settling translation problems and evaluating the quality of the translation, the writer of this thesis makes her greatest effort not only in contrasting and translating English and Chinese Function-Word Systems including mainly the contrast and translation of Chinese and English Mood Systems, Preposition Systems and Conjunction Systems, but also in the English and Chinese translation of function words under the guidance of Constructivist Translation principles(respect the objectivity of the knowledge; the rationality of the understanding and the universal effectiveness of the explanation;respect the directionality of the original text) through its guiding to translation strategies(Amplification, Omission, Conversation, Inversion, Insertion, etc) with the help of the semiological theory of the Form and the Content, thus demonstrates the guiding function of the Constructivist Translation Theory system and come into being of the guiding principles..
