Menghandiao is an extant art form in Zhunger Banner of Erdos in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is with both the Mongolian and the Han nationalities'musical characters. It originated from the blending of the Mogolia nationality and the Han nationality. Hence, the art of Menghandiao has the unique characters which are blended by the national music and culture. Based on the social context of Menghandiao's being, this paper makes some research on the characters of Menghandiao's blending, the characters of music noumenon as well as the development of Menghandiao art under the social changes. And the author will mainly describes the changes of Menghandiao art in all this paper.In the first part, it gives a picture on the extant Menghandiao's history & geography, the social economy, the national culture and the characters of its national folklore. Because any form of culture can not exist out of its social environment independently, therefore it is more important to observe and understand the social context of the existing of the folk art.In the second part, it mainly describes the characters of the national blending of Menghandiao art as well as the characters of its music noumenon. The character of the national culture blending is a unique character of Menghandiao art. Thus, this paper will introduce the music nunmenon mainly through its culture blending and will give an overall study on it.In the third part, it will describe the course of the changes and the development of Menghandiao art which is also the important part of this paper. In this paper, it gives a detailed description on the development of Menghandiao, including the introduction of the changes of its social context and the changes of the character of its music nunmenon and introduces its development after its changes.
