Walking In The Breakthrough

Wang anyi's 20-year-writing-course has experienced three transformations.This thesis mainly studies Wang anyi's three transformations,their reasons and significance.The first transformation took "the Xiaobao Village" as the symbol.Influenced by Root-searching literature trend,international pen clubs and self-examination,she transferred from early self-feeling to exploration of the human future fate. This transformation made Wang anyi rethink about the sprit of Chinese traditional culture in the view of the world culture.The second transformation caused when Wang anyi started to study human topics related to emptiness,loneliness,desire,etc,in the cultural atmosphere which collectively constructed by "Literature Shanghai".This time,Wang anyi took the "Chang Hen Ge" as the symbol.During this stage,she transferred to the study of the residents' daily esthetic life and "Shanghai sprit",trying to find beauty and sprit of life from the daily life of those Shanghai people.From the end of 1990s,Wang anyi transferred to writing about the countryside and stated her 3^rdtransformation,taking "Fu Ping" and "Shang Zhong Hong Ling Xia Zhong O" as the symbol.In this thesis,through comparative analysis with the traditional Shanghai writers,the author thinks that Wang anyi broke and surpassed the traditional Shanghai literature from the following sides:writing about Shanghai,humanity think and standpoint of the daily life writing,and realized a writer's true ideal.
