After the Revolution of 1917, the large social variation brought some special Women Questions in the special history stage from 1917 to 1929. It was the result of great lost of grown male within the First World War, the rise of women's self-conscious and Bolshevik's view to the women's position. Within the period of 1917 to 1929, under the control of Soviet Regime, Soviet women contributed to the swingeing high rate of employment and fertility in this period. They also made a great sacrifice for the stability and development of the Soviet Regime; in the field of marriage and family, the Soviet Regime promulgated a series of laws, which gave Soviet women more freedom of marriage but at the same time resulted in the instability of families; The Soviet Regime took many measures to interfere with the women's aesthetic question. But finally it failed to make the women's aesthetic concept into the government's mainstream of ideology completely. Both of them made some degree of compromise. All in all, faced with so many Women Questions in the early times of the Soviet Regime, the starting point of Bolshevik's primary policy encompassed to meet the need of the regime's consolidation and construction all the time. In this period, to some extent, the women's position achieved some improvement, but it didn't accomplish the real significance of women's liberation. |
