From the cognitive aspect, this paper studies and analyses the structure of 'Degree Adverb +Noun' in Modern Chinese with the theory of Ideal Cognitive Model (ICM) and Construction Grammar in order to discuss the types of the combination occurring in this structure, the characteristics of this structure ,the occurring reasons and the restricting conditions. What's more, this paper tries to make a better explanation for the problems being up in the air in former studies. This paper includes seven parts as following:The introduction generalizes the former researches of the structure of 'Degree Adverb +Noun', puts forwards the questions needing to resolve forward and illustrate the research thoughts and methods.Chapter one analyses the form of 'Degree Adverb +Noun'. It respectively divides the degree adverbs and the nouns of the structure into different categories.Chapter two introduces the ICM theory and briefly analyses the ICM of the nouns in the structure.Chapter three analyses the prominently protruding situations of the ICM of the nouns in all the kinds of the structure with ICM theory.Chapter four concludes the structure meaning of 'Degree Adverb +Noun'. It also inquires into the diachronic developments of the structure and carries on a comparative analysis between 'Degree Adverb +Noun' and 'Noun+qilai (起来)'.Chapter five discusses and sumes up the restricting conditions of the nouns occurring in the structure of 'Degree Adverb +Noun' to put forward three basic conditions and six semantic rules of the nouns.The last part is the conclusion. It summarizes the main views and point outs the questions needing to discuss deeper in this structure of 'Degree Adverb +Noun'.
