It has introspected the traditional idea of visual expression and compared the characteristic of visual symbolic language with letter symbolic language in order to demonstrate the character of language configuration which consist in visual symbolic language as well. The main idea of the subject is the elements of visual symbolic language is composed as code and formed rhetorical configuration as language, which has been put forward with the study to the configuration of visual symbolic language and the immanent regulation among symbolic structure. Many idiographic cases have been analysed so as to open out the deep-seated principle and relationship of visual symbolic code and originality. The subject is a new angle of view to create and comprehend art. It can also show us another way to analyse the relationship between art and culture.
