| Althusser is an important person in the development history of Marxism .He has a profound impact on development of Marxism. Especially his core ideological theory not only inherits the basic ideological ideas of Marxism, but also uniquely analyzes ideology by using new scientific results at that time. Therefore, it is the landmark in the ideology of Marxism as well as in the development of entire ideological theory. It is one of the main ideological resources of post-modern cultural ideas.Because of the integration of variety modern ideology methods, on the basis of predecessors, Althusser more in-depth revealed ideological mysterious nature and mechanism, that is, ideology constructs subject and subject reflects ideology, Which opened up a new realm of Marxism, provided main nutrients for subject construction theory of post-modern culture thought at the same time. But his theory also has some flaws. For instance, he made ideology generalization inappropriately. Moreover he stressed on the confrontation between science and ideology too much, exaggerated the function of the ruling class ideology, and thought the formation process of subject too simple. Above all the flaws, especially the last one makes his theory deny the authenticity of the subject. Therefore he deviated from his original intention—"to defend the Marxist".The paper describes the following aspects. First, it analyzes the origins of ideology theory from the overall of Althusser's theory, including social-political ideological background and theoretical sources of ideological theory. Second, the paper introduces the main contents of Althusser's ideological theory—the definition and features of ideology, ideology and science, ideological state apparatuses, ideological call subject. At last, based on the research results at home and abroad the paper analyzes and evaluates Althusser's ideological theory by using Marxism. It mainly criticizes the pessimistic viewpoints—person is the existence of ideology and fiction subject. |
