The word "zui" is usually used in people's daily lives. The corresponding explanation of zui in Modern Chinese Dictionary is that certain properties surpass all those of the same human eings or things . Although in the dictionary the explanation is clear clearly, but the author discovers that many foreign students usually unclear the extend adverb and make mistakes during the use process. Therefore this paper will focus on the studying the word "zui" from multiple perspectives. Besides the introduction and the conclusion, the full text is divided three parts: The first part has analyzed the interior possibility and the exterior demand which "zui" produces. The interior possibility comes out because some adverbs include the continual righteousness.The second part mainly compared "zui" with similar adverb "extremely" altogether. The difference between the two words is that one is relative adverb, and the other is absolute adverb. The "zui" is a relative adverb used in comparison, indicating that some kind of attribute surpasses all similar people or the thing, while the word "extremely" isn't used in comparison, because it is a absolute adverb. From the combination ability, the "extremely" may decorate the verb. But the "zui" can only be a adverb. From the frequency of use, the frequency of using "zui" is higher than "extremely". In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, foreign students, because do not understand that the two's concrete usage, usually present mistakes. We must let students both know how to use, and know its reason why, and make students can use correctly "zui" and "extremely", according to the intermediary language corpus's language materials, as well as foreign students' classroom thesis.The third part of content is comparing "zui" with the emerging degree adverb "ultra", "great", "N". First we analyze why the emerging degree adverb come out. Because many young students make a challenge on the Chinese grammatical form and the significance relation. And the cultural diversity as well as Chinese expression language also need new emerging degree adverb. Then the author separately elaborate initial usages of "ultra", "great", and "N".This kind of emerging adverb mainly appears in the spoken language and the network terminology, but very few appears in the written language. While "zui" appears frequently as the written language in the publication, the literary work and the magazine.
