Study On Our Country's Cultural Consumption Issue In The New Era

With rapid development of economy, the cultural construction in China has become prosperous in the process of meeting the constantly increasing cultural needs of the people crowds, and cultural consumption is also diversified day by day. Cultural consumption in our country has taken on an increasing development impetus, while in the meantime, some problems have also emerged that cannot be neglected. These problems are in conflict with the socialist advanced cultural construction, and are contradictory with the socialist harmonious culture which is not in favor of the sound development of people's spiritual world. Therefore, reinforcing the study on cultural consumption is not only the theoretical need but also the practical need. The thesis is composed of three parts:Section one is the theoretical premise of this study-----the sorting and clarification of the nature, structure and characteristics of cultural consumption. Cultural consumption refers to the process of the actualization of people's spiritual culture, namely the process that after the cultural consumers have the will of cultural consumption, under certain consuming conditions, they take corresponding consumption manners to combine with cultural consumables or consumption services eventually, so as to meet the needs of spiritual culture. The structure of cultural consumption is composed of cultural products, needs of spiritual culture and cultural consumption. Cultural consumption bears the characteristics of mutuality, repetition, concealment, potentiality, high rank and succession, etc.Section two will probe into the position and function of cultural consumption in the development of modern society. Cultural consumption is the organic composition of people's consumption; cultural consumption has a significant position in the construction of socialist modernization as well as in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization; a healthy cultural consumption will be in favor of increasing people's quality fundamentally and promoting the all-round development of human beings; the expansion of cultural consumption will make for the development of newly emerged industries and exploit new consumption area; the healthy development of cultural consumption will be propitious to the increase of the degree of social civilization; and will be in favor of the construction of socialist harmonious society.Section three will study and analyze the issue of how to instruct the present cultural consumption in our country to develop in a healthy manner. Generally speaking, cultural consumption in our country is still at the primary stage of development. There are still some negative elements and hideous phenomena in the field of cultural consumption. The reason is mainly the limitation of productivity. Meanwhile, it also includes the underdevelopment of cultural industry, and relatively low quality of people. Therefore, making painstaking efforts to develop productivity, strengthening the guidance of healthy development of THE spiritual consumption, increasing people's quality by means of education will be major solutions of the problem.
