Listz, the composer and pianist from Hungary, not only holds a special status in his country's musical history, but also plays a very important role in the European musical history. The unique skills in the morden piano playing, the programme principle, the symphonic thoughts and the deep-rooted folk style are his main attributes. His《Piana Sonata,in B-minor》had the milestone-like position in the literature of piano in the 19th century. This sonata has been handed down over the generations and it is the forerunner of the sonata form. The technique in the theme transformation and the function of the dual sonata form that can be seen everywhere in it, and the huge and complex structure, with rich content, and colorful harmony vocabulary, have provided the vast space for our interpretation and performance. The sonata profoundly reflects the contradiction in both the composer's personal outlook on the world and the European intellectuals' romanticism at that time. The profound and complicated content, the complex structure and logic of the discription all embody the traits and style of Listz' music creations. The creation of this Sonata was infuenced by senior German and Austrian composers' theory of"the mixture of genre".The work is written in the single-movement sonata, and, at the same time,it also has the features of multi-movement sonata.Based on the tone and nature of sonata it serves as a dual function.I believe that the attitude of the interpretation of the works should start from the nature of the music, and by means of introspection and reflection, to reveal the balance, the symmetry and the perfection of the art form.
