Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov is not only one of the most influential writers in the U.S.S.R. but also the only writer who won the Nobel Prize and Stalin Prize in his country , known as a master in his mother land. His creation reflects the reality which was pregnant with complicated and tragic conflicts in the Don region in the turning period of the U.S.S.R., leading readers into a fascinating and special artistic world.The remarkable work consists of four volumes, and Sholokhov finished it from 1928 to 1939. It portrayed the life of the Don Cossacks and the struggling history of them in the two wars ( the W.W.â… . and the Civil War ) and the two revolutions ( February Revolution and October Revolution ), revealing us how much they endeavored and suffered. The writer has lived in the same area with Cossacks for a long time in his life , so for this community and this Don grassland , he conveyed infinite affections which could be easily found in his work . He also painted a detailed picture of the war and the catastrophic results brought by the war to Cossacks, through melting description of nature in it so as to strengthen his antiwar idea and the point that nature cannot be sacrificed .The point is focused on the analysis of the scenery depiction from the ecological perspective , and from a ecological perspective, this thesis is trying to make a study and analysis of Sholokhov's great work, Tikhy Don . The land is his life creed.PART 3: Cossacks,war and nature. It had reflected Writer's antiwar. Thought and the aim that we can't take sacrifice the nature as the price through the relationship. Between the human and nature around the war, and the change of relationship between people.
