| With relevant policies supporting animation industry, local animation has become the focus of today's society. In many local works, however, there always lies a problem of chaotic identity of character group, which hinders the inheritage of national culture and the construction and communication of local animation brands. As becomes the obstacle of a healthy and sustainable development of animation industry. Therefore, learning from advanced countries, combining relevant theories of different areas, bringing up scientific design principle and method, then creating successful local animation character group's visual system, as is crucial to the change of local animation from unenlightenness.This thesis firstly defines character group and relevant concepts, analyzing the actuality of animation's theme, production, communication, subsequent products and terminal clients from the industry chain's angle. The article is based on the actuality of animation character group's image system, discussing the design method of a single character on technique level, the infection of culture to animation characters on culture level, and the outer and inner factors on economics level.The thesis based on communication and advertisement theories, raising the design principle of character identity system. By analyzing successful foreign animations, it finds out the problems lying in local industry. Using relevant theories of semeiology as guidance, it draw a conclusion of the design method of single characters, the general formula suitable for character group design, then building the integrated animation character relationship analyzing system, according to the deep-seated relationship construction of semeiology.Author finally systematizes these design theories, combined with the concluded design principle and method, makes the integrated flow course of character group design, which is meaningful to those in animation industry. |
