Study On The Particular Design And Appliance Of Book's Pagination

First of all, the thesis related its research background, objects, main contents, new ideas and significances, summed up the historical conditions and present situations of books'pagination through social survey. About the historical conditions, the author expounded respectively and compared the histories of Chinese and west. About the present situations, which were discussed from the aspects of pagination's functions, forms, characters etc. And the problems existing pagination's design were summarized and analyzed. Then the article discussed the unified requirement of pagination design through recounting the unity about content and form, function and form, function and artistry. This part mainly narrated the principles that the pagination design of books should follow from the perspective of thing's universality. Especially, the importance of the unity of function and artistry to pagination design of books was emphasized. After that, it was the emphasis of the thesis, the part of solving questions. At last, the thesis had a conclusion that was basic on raising, analyzing, solving questions and narrated the necessity of this research and it's guide significances to books'whole and systemized design.
