PI Research On Home Appliance Appearance Design

So far, although enterprises have realized the importance of industry design, they still stayed on the concept choosing stage. By doing this, the product concepts are mainly created by the designers. But these ideas lack of the organization of market strategy and enterprise strategy. Even the same designer or the same organization cannot stay by one steady style. The disorder of the style is caused by different product concept.The content of this paper is product image design, including PI concept and design methods. By introducing these, it can help the enterprise build steady product images. In the meantime, help the enterprise create the difference so that they can be identified easily.The paper construction is strictly followed as find problem-analyze problem-solve problem. In the paper, we mainly introduced the concept of image and its organization, analyzed the factors of product image, and the excellent cases of product image. Then we analyzed the difference between home and abroad. By analyzing the basic theory of product image we find the theory supports to build the relationships between the same kinds of products in the company. Prototype helps build the products relationships within one serious. Theme help the enterprises build product difference between different companies. In the end we introduce the concrete methods to help the enterprises build product image and keep it steady.In the last part we make an example to prove theory, and try to give some references for other practices.
