LuXun's "Aspiration" Before "a Fevered Cry"

Involving LuXun and the "New Youth" ,the people pay more attention to the series of articles published in the "New Youth" by LuXun and the relationship between LuXun and other the "New Youth" colleagues , also the ideological similarities and differences between them. This paper focuses on the original incident itself of LuXun and the "New Youth", meanwhile explores the impact the "Newborn" which LuXun established in 1907.Exploring the history of literature, we find LuXun have been a editor of the "New Youth" before "Diary of Madman" published .This decision was the sign of his new literary awareness. Based on the examination of the "New Youth" and the "Newborn", this paper inquires into LuXun' change in ideology, art and psychology after the failure of the "Newborn". This change made LuXun acquire real "newborn" in enlighten thought, life literature and awareness of literary magazine.Chapter One: the reason for joining the "New Youth"--"the newborn"of enlighten thoughtGuided by the thought of enlighten Chinese people, LuXun established the magazine "Newborn" in 1907. And LuXun joined in the "New Youth" in 1917 in the same way. But the "Newborn" ended with failure and LuXun' own road to the value of the individual was cut off. So LuXun began to introspected his enlighten thought. Although the existence of fuzzy and contradiction, LuXun had aware of himself: I am not a hero to gather Chinese people. And he found his weaknesses the same with other "fool minority" --"I also killed a person", which is LuXun' s consciousness start. He began to receive his own. Thus, LuXun had beyond the stage of criticizing others with other new ideas and reached to the point of self-criticism. In this way, the spirit of LuXun' s new literary was established and the enlighten ideology acquired newborn.Chapter Two: the reason for joining the "New Youth"--"the newborn"of life literatureOn the spiritual significance of the individual, LuXun' s joining the "New Youth"was imbued of his literary passion and the demand of artistic life self-realization. The "Newborn" time was the stage of combination of life literature and philosophy. The incidence of the "Newborn" s failure stimulated LuXun and it became a hidden cause to stimulate write. With the beginning of the failure of the "Newborn", the domestic facts shocked LuXun' s soul in the ten years, which provided the basis and material to LuXun' s novel wrote in the 20s. When LuXun found his ultimate goal in real life from perplexion and loss after the failure of the "Newborn", the first grand literary beliefs finally had new reorganization. The failure of the "Newborn" brought LuXun with harm memory. Freud considered that a kind of "complex" exists in the subconscious which is made by a traumatic experience. It gives a profound impact to a person, but people always restrain it due to injury and put it into subconscious. Of cause the shadow of the complex still be left on the psychology. The failure of the "Newborn" brought LuXun this traumatic experience and establishing the "Newborn" evolved into a sense of the "complex". So when the "New Youth"appeared similarly ,this "complex" was break out. LuXun took the "New Youth"as his new literary position, so his failed "Newborn" complex had finished."Newborn" and "New Youth",the two identical magazine, provided stage for LuXun to show his literary talent.
