The Study Of Farming In Nan Village's Words

Farming in Nan Village is an indispensable literature to the study of Modern Chinese, especially to Yuan Dynasty Chinese. View from the overall language research, it lacks of an overall grasp and microscopic meaning of the words exploration. This paper was formed by two sections, the explanations of the ordinary words and the explanations of the special words. According to the explanation of Han Yu Da Ci Dian, such as, the vocabulary entry existed or not, perfect or not, then I tried to explain these vocabulary entries by words very carefully. There are three sections: First, those didn't exist in Han Yu Da Ci Dian; Secondly, those explained inaccurately in Han Yu Da Ci Dian; Thirdly, those existed in Han Yu Da Ci Dian but cited the examples after Farming in Nan Village. And in the part of special words, it studied the words with special national features, words used in specific areas and Jargon. This paper intends to explain the meaning of individual words, and to show the landscape of the words in Yuan Dynasty, and also reveal Farming in Nan Village's value to Lexicology of Modern Chinese, especially to Yuan Dynasty Chinese. Because summarizing words' meaning needs accurate and massive examples to be the basis, so this paper used empirical method to prove the meaning of the words.
