Research On The Farming Poems In The Yuan Dynasty

In Yuan Dynasty poetry,farming poetry is an important subject,and its quantity is considerable.In this paper,the farming poems in Yuan Dynasty are taken as a whole,combined with the background of social development in Yuan Dynasty,and classified from three aspects: agriculture,farmers and rural areas,and the artistic characteristics of the farming poems in Yuan Dynasty are analyzed.There are four chapters in the thesis,trying to show the development of farming poems in Yuan Dynasty as a whole.The first chapter describes the agricultural production in Yuan Dynasty’s farming poems.The rulers of Yuan Dynasty attached great importance to agricultural development,and agricultural science and technology made a lot of progress compared with the previous generation.The farming poems in Yuan Dynasty described in detail the farming methods,land use methods and farm tools in Yuan Dynasty.Farming poems in Yuan Dynasty also described a variety of crops.Compared with the previous generation,the performance scope of the Yuan Dynasty’s agricultural poems has expanded,and the agriculture-related industries such as fishery,collecting industry and textile industry have all been described in the poems.The second chapter describes the farmers’ living conditions in the Yuan Dynasty farming poems.The sufferings caused by taxes and rents,wars and corvees,natural disasters,etc.,are often reflected in Yuan Dynasty’s farming poems.At the same time,farmers will have a happy time,and the joy of harvest,the joy of rain and other joys are also a state of farmers in Yuan Dynasty.In addition,in ancient times,when agricultural science and technology were underdeveloped,farmers had to work hard.The farming poems in Yuan Dynasty recorded the working process and hard work of farmers in detail.Compared with the previous generation,they pay more attention to the role of women in farming.The third chapter describes the rural folk customs in Yuan Dynasty’s farming poems,which mainly include the social day and other farming folk customs,praying for rain and praying for rain.The fourth chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of farming poems in Yuan Dynasty.In the selection of objects,Yuan Dynasty’s farming poems continued to develop the characteristics of the previous generation’s farming poems,in which vulgarity was the beauty,and in Yuan Dynasty,a large number of poems dedicated to agricultural tools appeared.Farming poems in Yuan Dynasty have a smooth and free artistic style,expressing emotions freely without any disguise.Compared with previous generation’s farming poems,there are a certain number of miscellaneous poems.Influenced by the fashion of that time,the farming poems in Yuan Dynasty have the characteristics of popularity and nature.
