| Since 1949, great achievements have been gained in piano education in China. In recent years, under the guidance of the "reform and opening up" policy and because of the economic development, the living standard of Chinese people has greatly improved, and there has emerged an unprecedented heat of learning piano. Millions of students, most of whom children, learn piano. As the groups of teachers enlarge, great progresses have been made in the scientific research of piano teaching. However, in the current piano teaching, the instructional ideas remains unchanged, while the content and methodology are stereotyped. Furthermore, as the evaluative system and the education for all-around development are separated while little has been done in cultivating the innovation ability of children, there is an urge for reform in piano teaching for youngsters.Related theories of piano teaching, as well as its popularization and current situation, have been analyzed through historical methods, literature investigation and case studies. Probing the issues of how to cultivate the innovation of children, exploring the theoretic construction of this proposition, the author hopes to alter the current situation of the piano teaching, so as to cultivate the youngster's innovation through creative methodology, and to endow some help to Chinese youngster's piano education. |
