Argumentation About The Confucianism Ethics Category "Zhi"

Since the birth pangs of the Confucianism , it is always regard the personnel, society, making peaceful times as their responsibility, this kind of joining society mindset makes Confucianism make a historical choice that cultivate or find back the morals accomplishment that the mankind once had for establishing or recovering the fine landscape of the human life peace. Because established value orientation, the Confucianism take and expanded many concerning morals article, such as benevolence and righteousness, morality and justice, courtesy and honesty etc. "Zhi" is also an important ethics category.In the Analects , Confucius speaks of " Zhi "in many place, there are more than 20 times, expressed Confucius attaching importance to ethics meaning " Zhi" contained, and the important position that is not neglected towards "Zhi" in the Confucianism ethics, scholars in later generations annotate Confucius numerous and innumerable, from these comments, we can also get comprehension and standpoint of the ones to "Zhi" , then see ethics content of "Zhi" get enriched continuously.This text is mainly divided into three greatly parts, through argumentation from the shallower to the deeper, from the outside to the inside of gradually, then clarify ethics connotation of Confucianism "Zhi" .The first part: carrying on arrangement completely and ethics examination to "Zhi" The Analects and Mencius elaborate on, for indicating "Zhi" is an ethics category of Confucianism, and has ethics connotations in human nature aspects and society fulfillment aspects.The second part: analysing and demonstrating the relation between " Zhi " and other ethics categories " Sincerity "," benevolence "," righteousness" etc deeply. To find " Zhi" has ethics connotation of "Sincerity",and "benevolence","righteousness" etc. They are closely related, without being exactly the same, which have the meaning and the value to reveal the deep ethics content of " Zhi" . The third part: through above-mentioned examinations,narrative and discussion , to reveal the ethics meaning: "Filial Piety" and "Love Others" .but "Filial Piety" and "Love Others" laid particular emphasis on one-sided in consciousness and behavior of the ethics. in The Analects, the Confucius ruled more perfect "Zhi" of The Mean. "Zhi" also contained human nature level "sincerity", "frank", "not private, not intentional" etc.
