On The Philosophical Foundation And Contemporary Values Of People Subject Thoughts

"People Subject Thoughts" is the major theoretical and long-term research topic in Marxist philosophy in China. It has been analyzed and discussed by people from different angles in different ways. Particularly Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin have done systematically explanations on this subject. Also, some ideas on this topic stated by Hu Jintao are quite interesting and useful. However, in terms of combining all these ideas, putting them as a whole form of theory, analyzing them from a philosophical perspective and explaining the scientific meaning, it still has a long way to go. Considering the background of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, using literature, empirical analysis, comparisons, linking to multi-points and integrated research methods, this paper tries to analyze our contemporary people's thoughts about the main philosophical implication, from the study of people, dialectical materialism and historical materialism, to display its philosophical value, its realistic significance and value of the new century. It also tries to provide some help in using people subject thought more effectively and therefore building a socialist harmonious society.In addition to this introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into three parts. The main parts are the rich connotation of People Subjcet Thought, the philosophical explanation and the contemporary value. The first part introduces the concepts of the people, the main body and people as the main body. The effects of the ancient Chinese "people" thinking of the meaning, the essence of modern Western philosophy of the history, also the inspection of the history of Western criticism of the people and the birth of the people subject thought from Marx are also included in the first part. Particularly, it talks about Marx's focuses on the history of the people and the scientific connotation of people as the principal value. Through vertical and horizontal comparisons, it also highlights the main content of the inheritance and beyond from Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and other leaders. After discussion on all the leaders of the theory and practices of exploration, it comes to a conclusion that our people subject thought is under the guidance of Marx's main people, critically inherits all outstanding culture and has Chinese own characteristics.The second part is the most important part of this paper. From a philosophical perspective, it reveals the scientific meaning of the people subject thought. Based on the background of building a harmonious socialist society, linked to the socialist construction and the great practice of reform and opening, under the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this chapter explains the main philosophical implication of people subject thought with Chinese characteristics from six aspects. Firstly, it discusses the historical nature of people subject thought.Secondly, explained the main ideas of Marx school. Thirdly,it illustrates the main ideas of the mass history. Fourthly, it illustrates the main idea of the values. Fifthly,it shows the practical view and the epistemology of people subjcet thought. At last, it illustrates the dialectics. Practices proved that this thought which reflects Chinese people's main characteristics has already played a tremendous role in guiding our revolution and construction. Under its guidance, we have got victories of the new democratic revolution and socialist revolution, achieved the preliminary results of political,economic and cultural system. Now we are ready to work hard to build a socialist harmonious.The third part of this paper addressed this growing and successful ontemporary theory of value from the perspective of reality which including three parts: in terms of maintenance of the basic socialist nature of the socialist system, the value of people subject thought is the fundamental guarantee of maintaining the socialist system; In terms of achieving the goals of social development, it is an important "magic weapon" of building a socialist harmonious society; In achieving the ultimate goal of development, it is the basic premise to promote the comprehensive development of people.In conclusion, people subject thought in our country which reflects the main ideas of Marxism, is a scientific and systematic theoretical system. It should be upheld. Furthermore, it can only provide great scientific guidance on China's building of socialism when it is upheld for a long time.
