As a part of people's life in agriculture society, folk song is always accompany with manual labour, religionary ceremony, nuptial ritual and other rites. But in contemporary society, manual labour gives place to machine, most traditional convention is no longer popular, and folk song perishes gradually. As the cultural travels prevail, folk song is prevalent again. Nevertheless, it is different from folk song in agriculture society. For example, people are accustomed to sing the song for the nature, for numen, or for themselves, but now they sing for the audient ,or for the tourists. The function of folk song is no longer practicability. Furthermore, what , when and where should the singer sing is decided by their boss or according to public taste. All these changes will be reflected on the form, the performance, the vocalization of the folk song, and it will result in transformation of singer's aesthetic and values. In short, in this article, I want to demonstrate that cultural travels supply the folk song with a new living environment, and it convert its target of service, its approach to spread, its function and so on to fit the new environment. All of these can be reflected on configuration of the folk song, the model of performance, the repertoire and so on.
