We need to take the whole American culture background into account when studying Hollywood movies; moreover, as a country taking Christianity as the basement, religion content in the USA has become quite essential for society, culture and people's daily life in the influence of Christian culture. As one of the three main religions in the world, Christianity is not only a system theology and ideology, but more a cultural spirit that has penetrated into Euro-American countries' deep culture and connected with American normal life. As a popular art mode in American society, Hollywood movies cannot avoid this influence no matter in the course of pursuing for, returning to Christian spirit or inheriting Christian ideas in a serious attitude.This thesis is trying to take Hollywood movies as the examples to study its art form in the deep culture background, especially the mutual relationship between common values and religion faith in current century. It places Hollywood movies into American Christian Culture to analyze the Christian elements in the most typical Hollywood movies and firm connection with each other, how the Hollywood movies entitle the echoes of modern society to traditional religion.
