Vague language is an important component of language. Vagueness of language is one of its inherent properties. Vague language actually talks about the fuzziness of language semantically. The term vagueness refers to the unclear bound of an object reflected by the certain language meaning.Nature and human world are quite different in many ways. It is this diversity that makes our knowledge of the world a bit of vagueness. Proper use of language vagueness in our daily life may perfect our words in a more natural, expressive way and reach a better communicative effect. It is impartial to emphasize on the exactness more than vagueness of a language. Only combination of the two in an effective way can help enhance the accuracy of our expression. Neither of them can be ignored in communication. In literature works, the literary images depicted by the authors are reformed in various readers' mind. Since imagination vary from person to person, as the saying goes, if there are 1000 readers, there will be 1000 Hamlet, for the readers it is impossible to have the uniform images. In this sense, we should say, literary images determine the vagueness of the literary language. We put forward fuzziness in the teaching process. It is an art and complementary to the traditional method of precision teaching rather than abandonment or exclusion of it. We promote positive fuzzy teaching, while avoid negative fuzzy teaching. Fuzzy teaching can make up for the lack of precision teaching. The two are mutually complementary and reinforce each other.
