Facial-expressions-language is the body-language which consists of the activities, changements of the facial apparatus and muscle. In contrast to the researching achievements of body-languag, the research on the facial-expression-language is basically fragmentary, unsystemic, and is to be under deep research. This thesis is mostly attempting to make the imageny of Luxun's novels to deep implication, and explore the implication-expressing and emotion-implying functions of facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels through studying the facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels.Firstly, According to the format composing of facial-expression-language, the types of facial-expression-language are argued,including eye-language,eyebrow-language, mouth-language, nose-language, laugh, crying, facial color and expression.Secondly, the nature of facial-expression-language is analysised, including sociality, nationality, agility, unconsciousness, authenticity, vagueness and shareness.Thirdly, various functions of facial-expression-language are enumerated, including emotion's conveying and revealing, denying or concealing, substituting, regulating, indicating of the relationship and proprieties.In the following, the specific using of facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels is analysised. In this part, firstly this paper classifies the facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels according to the form types of facial-expression-language, then on the basis of consideration of the context, historical background and other relative knowledge, specifically analysis the facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels. The last part explores the characteristics of using facial-expression-language on Luxun's novels.
