The folk faith that increased in quantity and changed in content developed rapidly in Tang and the Five Dynasties period. This paper discussed the regional disparity of folk faith from historical geography in order to understand and explain the folk faith in middle age period from another perspective.The discussion of this paper is mainly in the following aspects.The first and the second chapters returned the situation of folk faith in Tang and the Five Dynasties.In the third part, according to the recovery two chapters above, I have discussed every cultural region characteristics and make quantity counts. In the last, I made this conclusion that these Gods mainly concentrate in political, economic, and cultural center.In the forth part, it finds out the reasons for the forming of the spatial differences and graphical distribution of the Gods from different areas by analyzing the economic level, political factors, traffic conditions, geographical and historical conditions, cultural environment, and several other aspects.In the last part, it makes a summary and pointed the folk faith developed a lot in Tang and the Five Dynasties period, which is the preparation for the changes of folk faith in Song Dynasty.
