Dickens's humanitarianism thought is multi-dimensional and can be explored from various aspects. This thesis expounds his humanitarianism thought by analyzing some character images of his works.Firstly, located in the history river of humanitarianism thoughts which are presented in this thesis and the capacious space, Dickens's humanitarianism thought is distinguished. Compared with the thoughts of other contemporary writers, the connotation and characteristics of his humanitarianism thought are expounded and the origin and influential factors of his thought are explored from the aspects of his times and his experience and son on.Secondly, this thesis analyzes the three typical character images—"Little Virgin""Repentance"and"Evil Person", which lead us to having access to the humanitarianism thought of Dickens from the counter-two aspects.Finally, this thesis summarizes the realistic significance and influence of aftertime of Dickens's humanitarianism thought, and it also demonstrate its significance of the new era.
