On The Grain Work Of Shan-gan-ning Border Area Government During The War Of Anti-Japan

The agricultural economy of Shan-gan-ning area during the period of the Anti-Japanese War was on a weak foundation, the grain yield was limited. However, as the seat of the CPC Central Committee, apart from the needing to safeguard the local people's life and production, it must also supported a large number of full-time population, consolidated the anti-Japanese base areas, it made the grain problem and the grain situation was very grim. This paper attempts to analyze the whole food administration of Shan-gan-ning Border Region, touch upon the cause that the Border Area government the major constrainting factor of Grain work ,the ideas about grain work of the Border Area government, and the achievement effect working to Border Area government grain is commented on and analysed. Although the current food security concept has changed, Grain developing to human being's survival, society's stability, economic prosperity still has the significance which should not be underestimated. The tensions of world grain markets in the development of grain production makes that ensuring food security is still a very urgent problem for governments of all countries in the world. The Shanganning Border Area government's ideas about resolving the grain problem, ensuring the food security during the period of the Anti-Japanese War had given us very beneficial drawing lessons. In this paper, on the basis of this view of the current issue of food security work some suggestions are given.
