Study Of Aesthetical Implication Of "MengYou"

"MengYou"(Aesthetic experience in a dream),which is always regarded as a disease term in medicine(sleepwalking),is actually an important concept in China's Classical Aesthetics and art creation, of which few notice the influence on classical Aesthetics and art creation. After the 1980s, influenced on Western way to study dream, there are more and more compositions and papers, which study the performance between dream and culture in China's academic circles. The studying concerns many sides, such as images of dream, dream and culture, dream and psychology. Though the studying is prosperity, its analysis only stay in culture layer, furthermore, analysis of Aesthetic layer is absence. According to this studying situation, under my doctor's guide and encourage, I decide to study the relation between classical Aesthetics and"MengYou", which arise in many classical information and documents.My thesis contains seven chapters. First, I hold that"MengYou"is a unique aesthetic experience (Chapter I). Second, I analyze that the relation of"Meng You"and art creation (Chapter II). Third, I state that the performance of"MengYou"in literature and art creation before Tang and Song Dynasties (Chapterâ…¢to Chapterâ…¤). Fourth, Sixth chapter refer to discuss the concept that"life like a dream", which form from dream's ideal meaning and illusory meaning, is an important part of Life Aesthetic (Chapter VI). Finally, I distinguish the comprehension of the relation of dream and art creation between Orient and Earnest (Chapter VII).
