| Maomingan tribe was an important part of horqin in North YuanDynasty. The tribe belonged to Hasar who was Genghis Khan'syounger brother. In the former half of 16th century, maomingan tribemigrated from hulunboir to the northern area of Daqing mount andbecame a jasag county of Inner Jasag Mongolian Wulanchab Alliance. Byusing of Mongolian archives and some relating historical documentsabout Maomingan county's jasag government from King Dao Guang the15th year (1835) to the People's China the 38th year (1949), which werestored in Inner Mongolian Archives, this paper carries out someresearches on Maomingan county's local administrative organismsumu and bag, populations and social stratum, township corvee andfinancial income and expenditure, as well as the kinds, contents anddocumental values of the county's jasag governmental Mongolianarchives which were still remained and, at the same time, expressespersonal views on the problems mentioned above. |
