| As a special member of modern Chinese lexical system, more and more Chinese alphabet letter-words are appearing and having a great influence on modern Chinese. However, as an emerging language phenomenon, Chinese alphabet letter-words are not stable in their formation; their developing speed is slower, and the quantity & using frequency is not as same as the alphabet letter-words from other languages, but still thanks to themselves special expressing efficiency, Chinese Alphabet Letter-words are wildly and frequently used on behalf of or helping Chinese Characters in the realm in which Chinese characters can not be used. And even their whole trend and quantities are increasing. The appearing and adopting of Chinese Alphabet Letter-words predict a new forming method of Chinese new words, and this gives a new studying task. Basing on their importation, particularity and studying inefficiency, this paper gives an elaborated analysis and discussion of the Chinese alphabet letter-words, starts with their names, definition, and property, induces their main formation on base of quantifying statistics, explains scientifically on the causes, influence, standardization and developing trend, and surveys relevant questions of Chinese Alphabet Letter-words from the angle of teaching Chinese as foreign language. This paper gives certain academic and practical purports. |
