The Grammaticalization And Combinatorial Function Of The Degree Adverb Class Of "Bao"

This text chooses four words"chao,ju,kuang,bao"which are used with high frequency from degree adverb class of"bao"as our study objection. We combine the theory of grammaticalization, the study production of degree adverb and the newest material of language, probe to the reason of grammaticalization of degree adverb class of"bao". We discuss from several angles: the development of semantic meanings, the change of the structure form, the function of cognitive psychology, the influence of using frequency, pragmatic value and dialect. By analyzing lots of language materials, find the combining function of them.Except the preface and conclusion, the thesis is made of four parts:Part I, the semantic meaning change of the grammaticalization mechanism of the adverb class of"bao". This part discusses the meaning of word class of"bao"in three periods: ancient times, neoteric times and modern times, so that we can have a whole recognition of the meaning of them.Part II, the structure form and cognitive psychology of the grammaticalization mechanism of the adverb class of"bao". This part analyzes the important structures form which causes the grammaticalization of the degree adverb class of"bao", find the effect of cognitive psychology in the process of the grammaticalization of the degree adverb class of"bao".Part III, other factors which affect the grammaticalization of the adverb class of"bao". This part mainly analyzes the grammaticalization reason from the angle of the influence of language using frequency and dialect and so on.Part IV, the combinatorial function of the adverb class of"bao". This part mainly studies the usage of the adverb class of"bao", so that the use of the adverb class of"bao"will become normailization.
