Study On Duplicate Sound Words In YanShiJiaXun

The predecessors have done a lot on research of the Chinese Duplicate sound words in the Medieval Times, like Cheng Xiangqing, Wang Yunlu and so on. Compared with the research on the ancient and modern Chinese,"the Medieval Chinese" is studied comparatively later, and the out comings are far from sufficiency. In this field, it lacks a systematical research book which includes all the researches on the Duplicate sound words in the medieval times. Comparatively speaking, it is abounding in the studying of ancient Chinese Duplicate sound words. In that field, we have both systematical books and academic researches in the entire period .in this thesis; I take"YanShiJiaXun"as the object of the Medieval Duplicate sound words research. Because it was the real record of the language at that time, it's worthwhile as precious language historical materials. At the same time, the language of"YanShiJiaXun"was permeated by many spoken languages on the classical Chinese frame. The language style of"YanShiJiaXun"is plain and simple. It is an important material for the Southern and Northern Dynasties Chinese study.On the base of the lexical study and methods of the predecessors, I make a synchronic description in this field through a word-by-word analysis, at the same time; I also make some synchronic description as to discover the lexical category, the semantic features, the characteristics and the regularity of the words development.In order to make a comprehensive analysis on the Duplicate sound words in YanShiJiaXun, this thesis consists of nine parts:The first part: I make a synthesis on all the researches in the field and propose the necessity of this research based on the preceding studies.1. Analyzes its language material value and the present research situation.2. Introduces the author of"YanShiJiaXun"and book.3. Make clear the dividing limits.4. Determine the research method.The second part: I divide the Single Morpheme Word and categorize them according to the standard.The third to seventh part: From the angle of semantic and lexical formation, we analyze the Conjunctive words, the Modifying disyllabic words and the Supplement compound words and the Conjunctive words relate to the problem of word order. From the angle of lexical category of words which form the Compound words, we induce the Verb-object compound words and Subject-meaning Compound words, and then analyze the lexical category constitution simply.The eighth part: the Supplementary words of"YanShiJiaXun"have developed with inheriting. This text still carries on the classification at base of affix position, and then summarizes the development of affix.The ninth part: we investigate"YanShiJiaXun"by putting it in the advancement of Chinese historical development and then carries on a comparison between history and nowadays. Basing on this, we reveal the lexical category and the semantic constitution characteristic of"YanShiJiaXun"Duplicate sound words.The conclusion: this part induces"YanShiJiaXun"Duplicate sound words characteristic basing on previous analysis. "Sees a spot we know the complete picture". Basing on this, we can view the regularity of the development of the Medieval Duplicate sound words.
