Taboo is an ancient custom in china. As early as Zhou dynasty it has been an important part written in etiquette.Taboo became legal tendency and standardization in the lating thousands of years. Also taboo was an important political system when law and etiquette combined in Tang and Song Dynasty. Song Dynasty was a period which links the preceding with the following, taboo system emerge vigorous life force and make a large growing in content and pattern. The biggest feature is perfect law and strict enforcement, especially in folk. As we all know the negative significance of Song taboo system, but the growing culture in Song Dynasty tell us this negative significance is limited. It's positive sense more reflect in society management and foreign contact. Taboo system in Song Dynasty become conservative and rigid when it make a large growing, this lead a hidden danger in Ming and Qing dynasty.
