The Model of Piano Teaching for Pre-school education major in normal universities and colleges in China has long been more or less the same as that for professionals , which is characterized by the face-to-face way of conducting the teaching traditionally between the tutor and the individual student. Between the 1980s and late 90s ,Pre-School Education Major in Normal universities and colleges still turns to the Delta System in bringing up the students of the very major. Outstanding these students may be, the number of the students enrolled is relatively small, with an average of 30-40 at most in a class. The advantage of the system is that the proportion of the tutors and the students is on a good scale and that the intensified face-to-face piano teaching does great good to the students and the way of conduction. With the rapid development of the educational industry in China after the 1990s, universities and colleges of all scale get consciously involved in student enrollment expansion which naturally leads to the unavoidable yet serious problem that universities and colleges offering teacher-training courses to those students majored in pre-school education are in dire need of qualified teachers, especially those who are of the piano major ,to make things worse, there will be troops of new enrollments every year. It's then quite necessary for those involved in the teaching in such situations to turn to methodology for help. In traditional teaching of piano courses, much attention has been paid to the training of the skills, rehearsals, understanding of the style of target music as well as the art of teaching the students in accordance of their aptitude in a comparatively small class ,however, rarely can we see any of the research done or work completed on the approaches of teaching piano to such big classes. Despite the awareness of the feasibility of the Collective Piano Teaching Model from some educationists and men of insight of the problem ,there is still a lot of work to be done to frame the system scientifically,to say nothing of figuring out the exact modality of giving piano lessons to particular students in such a situation collectively.This article aims at modeling the Collective Piano Teaching Model for Pre-school education Majors on the basis of the reflection of the index of piano teaching practice and survey and research conducted on the models of piano courses for pre-school education majors held in normal universities and colleges in China. It will cover the necessity and maneuverability of the new model and establish the structural framework of the model in order to solve the problems occurred where the conflicts between the traditional teaching models and the new one.一,Brief Introduction, aiming at offering a practical explanation of reasons for the research and study of the problem based on a brief summary of the traditional models of piano teaching and the revealing of the problems these models of piano teaching are encountering in the practice for pre-school education majors in normal universities and colleges nationwide, is to focus on advancing the new model of Collective Piano Teaching and a briefing of the model.二,The body of the article is consisted of the following parts1,index of Chinese piano teaching in schools ,which starts with the introduction of Piano to China as well as the contrail of the establishment and development of piano teaching as a major course in China.2,survey and analysis conducted on the widely-adopted teaching model of piano teaching at present in normal universities and colleges which lead to the conclusion that traditional model of piano teaching is no longer in pace with the fast and latest development of piano teaching as a major for pre-school education majors.3,a full account of the necessity of the innovation of the piano teaching model for pre-school education majors in normal universities and colleges and a detailed presentation of the new model-Collective Piano Teaching both practically and theoretically.4,effective and practical reasons for the Collective Piano Teaching Model for pre-school education majors as a better system compared with the traditional ones, supported by a series of well-developed teaching measures covering teaching schedule , materials , methods and approaches and so forth.三,the Closing of the article will offer adequate theoretical evidence and support for the new Collective Piano Teaching Model on the basis of a reason-effect framework of the 4 parts which are both logical and interactive as the result of the careful study and analysis of the body of the article.
