The paper observes and studies the poetics of natural disposition, which is as an aspect of the tradition, in its origin, development, taking shape and inheritance and puts a high premium on how it takes part in constructing new poetry. It includes preface, main body and conclusion.In the preface, the author puts the present study about the problem in order and discusses the aim, context, ways, key issues as well as the points of initiation.The main body includes four chapters. In chapter one, it is main about to discuss what tradition is and how important it is, which is to set the analysis of the relationship between new poetry and poetics of natural disposition on strong grounds and not to look it as a self-evidence exist. So, the tradition is meaningful to the paper and as its logical beginning. After making clear what is the tradition, what is its meaning and why the nature of poetics of natural disposition is the tradition, the author discusses the relationship between new poetry and the poetics of natural disposition and the tradition. In chapter two, it is to put the origin, development, taking shape and inheritance of the poetics of natural disposition in order. In this process, the author expounds its feature and how it became tradition. In chapter three, it is to expound its inheritance and development in Qing dynast and age that was close to present. Poetics of natural disposition had had so much influence on circle of poets in Qing dynast, which, combined with the west influence, had done some important things on the origin and development of new poetry and made it has some nature of poetics of natural disposition. In chapter four, it is to discuss the inheritance and development in which the"May Fourth"new poetry came down in one continuous line of poetics of natural disposition in Qing and Ming dynasty. The author chooses some representative poets and their work to analyze and gets the conclusion that after the origination of new poetry the tradition of the poetics of natural disposition is not end but, on the contrary, as tradition inherited and developed in new poetry.
