Research On The Person Worship To The Floks Faith In Pearl River Delta During The Ming-Qing Dynasties

The thesis deals with the person worship to the folks faith in Pearl River Delta during the Ming-Qing dynasties.It has three parts..The first part disserts the phenomenon of the person worship to the folks faith in Pearl River Delta.This part also includes four aspects:One is the worship to literators,one is the worship to honest and upright officials,one is the worship to heroes and generals,the other is the worship to country squires.The second part dissserts the reason of the person worship in Pearl River Delta.The third part analyses the character and the status of the person worship in the system of the folk worship in Pearl River Delta.The last conclusion is:one the one hand,the person worship is a big part to the folks faith in Pearl River Delta during the Ming-Qing dynasties,it is the same important in person's spiritual life as other spirit worship in Pearl River Delta.on the other hand,owing to the person worship's characher present more contemporary and regionally,the custom of the person worship develop in two ways:some transform gradually into spirit worship,others disappear gradually along with the disappearance of the memorial temple and the sacred group.so we know that comparing with other spirit worship,the person worship lack permanent life-force.It had not become a primary worship in Pearl River Delta since the Ming-Qing dynasties.
