Taking Xiazhuang village as a case and basing on the materials of local history and field work, this paper makes an attempt to describe the Chuang people' Taoism—the Daogong Religion which has widely exists in the community of Chuang People. After spreading into the area of Chuang, the Taoism and the primal religions of Chuang interact with each other for the common resources.A new style religion which is characteristic of Chung culture has developed in the process of the interaction between Taoism and folk-customs. Comparing with Taoism, Daogong Religion has inherited the nature of Taoism, and also has got many differences, such as localization of rituals, the production of new god, the weakness of the religious function, and enhancement of the folk-custom and mediumistic nature.etc. All the difference indicate that Taoism have survived by its popularity, inclusiveness and flexibility. Taoism have reconstructed into a new religion style in the community of Chuang People.
