With his special cultural background and identity,V.S.Naipaul,a British writer born in an Indian family is a most prominent writer as well as the most controversial one.V.S Naipalll is a rootless writer. His special cultural background has made it possible for him to command a double-edged critical perspective.Thereafter,he aims at renecting complex problems concerning politics, religion, nationality and culture.Among the writers of Empire Writes Back,Naipaul should be singled out for his unique works which distinguished themselves for their profound thinking on the cultural relations between the former metropolitan and colonials.Naipalll is viewed as the Interpreter and meditator of the Third World.Considering all of this,Naipaul and his works are well worth reading and researching into.
