The Melancholy Of The Survivor Ci-Poets Of The Southern Song Dynasty In Jiang Xi

The Survivor Ci-Poets of the Southern Song Dynasty in Jiang xi (referring toCi-poets who remain loyal to Southern Song Dynasty although it has been replacedby the Yuan Dynasty)are a group of Ci-Poets with quite distinct regionalcharacteristics contrasting to others of the same era., Their writings are records oftheir own melancholy during the special historical period at the turn of the Song andYuan Dynasties, presented the artistic characteristics distinctly for their melancholicstyle and features, though there were some scholars had studied them in the Mingand Qing Dynasty, little cultivators studies the Survivor Ci-Poets of the SouthernSong Dynasty in Jiang xi as a region al culture-literary group. This paper tries tomakes some preliminary explorations for the group and its writings by the way ofhistory,culture,social-psychology and the artistic aesthetics.The full text is composed by six charts.The first chapte is the introduction of theSurvivor Ci-Poets of the Southern Song Dynasty in Jiang xi and the study on them. Secondchapter, we try to find out the origins of the Survivor Ci-poets of the Southern SongDynasty in Jiang xi through a comprehensive analysis of the time and socialbackground,the factor of the regional economic,cultural and the psychology of theseSurvivor Ci-poets. The third chapter revolves around the Ci-poets' painful personalexperiences and their sense of melancholy. Living in reclusion is both the style oflife for the Survivor Ci-poets and the natural choice for them to seek relief inmelancholic life experiences.Those can be reflected by the Survivor Ci-poems.Fourth chapter, we mainly discuss the artistic characteristics of the SurvivorCi-poets' of the Southern Song Dynasty in Jiang xi. Zen Buddhism and Taoismaesthetic views and the Jiangxi Adherents sense of melancholy affecting the artisticcharacteristics of their writings. Fifth chapter, we point out that the SurvivorCi-poets absent the spirit of reflect. The last chapter is the conclusion of the paper.
