Expression Adverbs are one of the difficulties for South Korean student learning Chinese. In this paper, I first provide some error analysis of the use and understanding of 16 common expression adverbs in Chinese by South Korean students. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the types of errors, and try to analyze the causes of the errors. Then, according to statistics from a questionnaire, I list the usage error rate and the comprehension error rate for each expression adverb. With this data, I want to show the mastery of expression adverbs by South Korean students. Finally, I analyze the counterpart forms of the Chinese expression adverbs in the Korean language, combined with the error analysis and the usage error rate and the comprehension error rate, I make a further examination of the reasons for the errors, and at the end of this paper, I propose some targeted suggestions for the teaching Chinese as a foreign language specifically to Korean students.
